For as long as she can remember, Ashley Clark has been donating to nonprofits in central Ohio through the Buckeyes for Charity campaign.

The exact nonprofits have varied over the years, but Ashley, a Director of Community Partners at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, consistently gives to organizations that support the community where she lives, including nonprofits that help underserved and vulnerable populations, animals and the environment.

This year, her donations through Buckeyes for Charity benefit organizations including Friends of Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks. Ashley loves visiting the Scioto Audubon Metro Park and its new dog park with her 10-year-old dog, Poppy, and she wants to ensure that other people have access to public parks, too.

She likes the convenience of being able to donate through payroll deduction through Buckeyes for Charity, and she says it’s important to be able to show her support alongside other Buckeyes.

“Especially given the big presence that Ohio State has throughout central Ohio and beyond, it's important for us to give back and support causes in the communities where we live and work.”
